Ahmed El Fadhel
Ahmed is an aerospace engineer at Aerospacelab in Belgium and a visiting scientist at the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Royal Observatory of Belgium (ORB). He is currently working on the development of a laser communication system that will be embedded on small and medium sized satellites. Ahmed is also working on the massive processing of radio data collected by the European spacecraft Mars Express. In addition, he is working with ORB, NASA and ESA on the first interplanetary CubeSats to be used to study the atmospheres of the Mars and Venus planets. Finally, Ahmed is a consultant to the National Commission for Extra-Atmospheric Space (CNEEA) for the establishment of a Tunisian national space strategy.
