Samaher Ben Hadj Slimane
Samaher is a second year Food Industries engineering student. In 2014 she got her bachelor degree in mathematics and three years later she got her license in Food Procedures from the High Institute of Technological Studies of Kélibia, where was her first meeting with other astronomy amaters in an astronomy club. And since, she participated in several astronomical events and the first was ‘‘the First International Symposium for Students Amators of Astronomy’’ where she met students passionate with astronomy from all over Tunisia and professionals from all over the world and it was her first observation with telescopes and her first look at the universe. Then, she participated in an astrophotography training in Djerba, besides she participated in many other trainings and events like NASA Space Apps Challenge and stars night. Also she animated some astronomy classes for children. In 2017, she became a member of the Tunisian Association of Young Astronemers (TAYA) as a framed and she started her journey in astronomy. Samaher her interest in astronomy was from childhood, where she watched every night the stars and contemplated the magic of heaven and the universe with her father, who in turn was interested in this science.
