Mayssa El Yazidi
She is a Planetary geologist, graduated in Basins Analysis and Characterization of Reservoirs (ABCR) at the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis, University Tunis El Manar II with a master thesis about the geology of Mars. In 2018 she had a fellowship at the Center for Studies and Activities for Space "G. Colombo"- CISAS, mapping the Noctis Labirinthus grabens on Mars. She received a PhD fellowship in Space Science, Technologies and Measurement (CISAS), to the study of the surface geology of Mars and Mercury.
Her interest focuses on the composition and the processes responsible of the modifications on the planetary surface and analogues terrains using different datasets, DTMs and the 3D Geo-modelling.
Mayssa is the National Outreach Coordinateur for Tunisia in the IAU Office for Astronomy Outreach (OAO) and the founder of the Tunisian Association of Young Astronomer.
